Program policy

Terms & Conditions

These terms apply to every athlete registered through this site and to the parent or guardian who completes the registration.

Last updated September 2026

01Who may participate

Programs are open to students in grades 6-8 attending Stayton Middle School, Sublimity School, or Mari-Linn School, subject to the grade eligibility listed for each sport. Some programs are limited to 7th and 8th grade.

Athletes must remain academically eligible and in good standing with their school for the duration of the season. Eligibility decisions are made by school staff.

02Required paperwork before participation

A current sports physical must be on file before the first day of practice, and all district athletic forms must be completed in FinalForms. An athlete without both may not practice or compete, even if the participation fee has been paid.

It is the family's responsibility to keep the physical current through the end of the season.

03Participation fee

The participation fee is $495 per athlete, per sport, and is charged at the time of registration. A registration is not confirmed until payment is received.

Families experiencing financial hardship should contact the athletic director before registering. Fee assistance is handled through the school office, not this site.

04Uniforms and program gear

Uniforms and program-issued gear remain the property of the athletics program. Gear is issued at the start of the season and must be returned clean and in good condition within one week of the final contest. Families are responsible for the replacement cost of gear that is lost or damaged beyond normal wear.

05Conduct and participation expectations

Athletes are expected to attend practices and contests, follow coach instruction, and represent their school respectfully at home and away events. Parents and spectators are held to the same standard of sportsmanship.

Coaches determine playing time, team placement, and, where applicable, A/B team assignments. Serious or repeated conduct violations may result in suspension or removal from the team without a refund.

06Schedules and program changes

Season windows, practice times, and contest schedules are subject to change due to weather, facility availability, officiating, staffing, or league decisions. The program may cancel or combine teams when participation numbers do not support a roster.

07Family information and privacy

Information submitted here is used to register and manage athletic participation and is shared only with coaches, school staff, and league officials who need it. Student education records are protected under FERPA.

08Agreement

By completing a registration, the parent or guardian confirms they have read and accepted these terms, the cancellation and refund policy, and the insurance policy, and that the information provided about the athlete is accurate.
